I hired this company to do some wiring in a kitchen renovation project at my house.The only reason I had someone else do the work was that I wanted a professional to do any wiring. I didn't know any electricians in the area and I was behind schedule. We were leaving town in a couple of days, so I just picked one (Bardon) out of the phone book. All I needed was a rangehood vent and an overhead light for my sink wired. One of the owners stated that 2 men would be sent so it would be done in half the time and not cost me more than a couple hours labor ($85 per. hour). Well, I ended up with 4 hours of labor when they finished and before they left I noticed a hole in my ceiling and a ripped AC duct when I opened the filter vent and looked in. We agreed on knocking $100 off the price and I would fix it myself. Huge mistake on my part by not turning the AC/heat on to check it. On 3/31/09 mike continued said... it did not work and then neither did the AC. I called a known local AC repairman and found out that the entire 16" return duct from the Return box to the Air Handler was crushed flat. Before this time, no one except the electrician had ever been in my attic. When the Bardon Electricrician was up in my attic I heard constant ripping and so did their other electrician. He even told the guy to be more careful up there, but the guy in the attic just cursed constantly in response. I was a fool, like I said, because I didn't turn on the AC/heat before they left. When I did find out the true extent of the damages I phoned the owners at Bardon and they said they would get back to me, but they never did. I did receive a letter back from them after I sent one registered. They said my damage was perhaps the result of poor maintenance. I have pictures of the duct crushed flat. No one had set foot in my attic before their electrician was up there and my AC/heat worked great. The total repairs cost
